Community Guidelines
SignalGo is an interest-based social app. We want every user to have a real, friendly and safe experience. Please follow these Community Guidelines whenever you use the app.
1. Basic rules of conduct
- Be real: present yourself with true information. No misleading promotion and no impersonating others
- Be kind: respect every user. No insults, mockery, harassment or personal attacks
- Protect privacy: don't share other people's personal information, photos or private messages without their consent
- Follow the law: all activity must comply with the relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China
2. Content rules
When you post signals, fill in your profile, send messages or share anything else on SignalGo, don't include any of the following:
- Nudity or sexual content: adult content, vulgar images, sexually suggestive text and the like
- Scams or off-platform solicitation: any attempt to get people to transfer money, do fake-order tasks or invest, or to lure users to other platforms
- Advertising: commercial ads, proxy purchasing, promotions and the like without the platform's authorization
- Gambling: gambling, betting, fake-order schemes or other illegal activity
- Politically sensitive content: content that violates national laws and regulations
- Violence or terrorism: promoting violence or terrorism, or encouraging harm to others
- Illegal services: offering or promoting any illegal product or service
- Protection of minors: any content that sexualizes or harms minors
3. Profile rules
- Your profile photo must be a clear, front-facing photo of yourself. Don't use celebrity photos, cartoons, ads or other unrelated images
- Your nickname must be civil and appropriate, with no insults, ads or contact details
- Your bio must be honest and must not contain solicitation, ads or prohibited content
4. Private chat rules
- Respect the other person's wishes. If they don't reply or they decline, stop contacting them
- Don't send harassing, insulting or threatening messages
- Don't send external contact details, solicitation links or ads in private messages
- Don't ask for or spread other people's private information
5. Reporting and enforcement
If you come across prohibited content or a user who breaks the rules, you can report them in either of these ways:
- Tap the "Report" button in the top-right corner of a user's avatar or a piece of content
- In a chat, open the menu in the top-right corner and choose "Report"
Depending on how serious the violation is, we may take the following actions:
- Minor violations: a warning notice reminding the user to follow the rules
- Moderate violations: restricting some features (such as posting signals or sending messages)
- Serious violations: banning the account, and holding the user legally responsible where the circumstances are severe
6. Our commitments
- We handle every report fairly and transparently, without favoring either side
- We keep reports strictly confidential and never reveal the reporter's identity to the person reported
- We keep improving our content moderation to give you a safer place to meet people
